Coach Candace attended Limestone College where she majored in Physical Education and played for the women's volleyball team. After completion of her bachelor's degree, she continued her education as a graduate assistant for the women's volleyball team at Converse College where she earned her master's degree in special education. While coaching for Converse, she also coached an 18's team at Club South Volleyball in Spartanburg, SC. Upon graduation from Converse, Coach Candace moved to Lincoln, NE for 9 years. While in Nebraska and teaching, she coached a reserve (9th and 10th grade) Volleyball team for 5 years at Lincoln Northeast High School. Coach Candace grew up in Gaffney, SC where her middle school (Junior High) Volleyball experience began in the 7th grade. Coach Candace now resides in Greenville, SC and is currently coaching the League Academy middle school volleyball team since 2020. She still enjoys playing volleyball, as she is currently in a doubles grass league here in Greenville. She also enjoys anything outdoors and spending time with her daughter, Catherine."
