Coach Andrew started playing volleyball when he was a freshman in High School at Wellesley High School in Wellesley Massachusetts and was hooked from the first day. As a basketball player growing up, he felt that volleyball was a great way to train in the off season, but what he found out was that his love of volleyball made it his primary sport. He joined Beantown Volleyball Club his sophomore year and won two NERVA (New England Regional Volleyball Association) Championships during his time in High School. During college he continued to play for the club team at Furman University as well as on some intramural teams. After finishing his undergraduate degree, his desire to coach took him to Central Michigan University to serve as the Director of Analytics for their Men’s Basketball team. Since returning to Greenville, he is now the Head Coach of the Legacy Early College Boys’ Volleyball team who is in the middle of their inaugural season. He is looking forward to his time at Elevate.
